As we explore new trails and earn rewards along the way, you’ll get to show off your skills and teamwork.
But that’s not all! After completing your third hike, you’ll be awarded your very own *hiking stick*—a true symbol of your outdoor spirit! Benefits of Hiking

Complete outdoor requirements for scouting adventures
When and Where do we meet?
The hiking club meets once a month, mostly Sunday mornings between 9am - 11am. We select a hiking place that is not more than 15-20 min away from Pack 10 neighborhood. We select hiking trails between 2-4 miles.
What do Scouts earn?
Apart from receiving the endless benefits of hiking listed above, scouts earn a cool sticker for their water bottles for each hike and a hiking stick on their 3rd hike. As they progress, they get to earn some cool charms that is used for decorating their hiking stick.
What should we bring?
Bring the 6 cub scout essentials for the hike. A string back pack with the following -
Water bottle with water
Snack
Whistle
Small first aid kit (this will be provided at your first hike)
Small Flashlight
Sun protection (Hat, sunscreen)
Wear your Class B round neck T-shirt and dress for the weather.
How should i sign up?
Fill out the below form. This effort is led by Pack 10 leader Vishakha Mishra. She will add you to a Whatsapp group for the hiking club to distribute information like hiking schedule, date, times, locations etc.
